Gold Panda
Good Luck and Do Your Best

Gold Panda’s new full length is called “Good Luck and Do Your Best”. With “You” he had as much of a hit single as you possibly can when your tracks mainly consist of peaceful and weird toy and world samples sequenced together. I still haven’t heard anyone else sound quite like him as he has a very interesting and calm touch to his sound, which incorporates urban elements and field recordings.

To me, his songs feel very London and do a great job of providing an atmosphere and feeling aking more to ambient music, despite its reliance on rhythm.

I thought this feature by Telekom Electronic Beats was both beautifully shot, and did a great job in giving an insight into his process.
