George Fitzgerald released his latest project – “Eyes Of Mine” – a few days ago. I have been hyping the release since he first showcased the tracks in his BBC Essential mixes this winter.
George Fitzgerald’s music has drifted from club bangers into a more mellow direction, as featured on his debut LP “Fading Love”, which to me was the album of the year of 2015. He has previously stated that he is no longer interested in producing club bangers under his own name and will instead use the moniker “Eyes Of Mine” to create club songs and to continue exploring the rave scene. The EP includes two melodic and boxy tracks which heavily rely on repeating patterns.
The debut EP “FIG 1” containing the tracks “Fig. 1.1” and “Fig 1.2” are out now as a Beatport exclusive.
